Alright, I've got my head unit (Eclipse CD5442) and my sub (Adire Brahma) but now I'm going to need some speakers. I don't know much about speakers except that I want some speakers that sound good with rap, rock, and punk music. Money isn't that much of a factor and I just want to know which speakers will give me the best possible sound.

Please give me some suggestions!

My favorite component set is the Adire Koda set. they sound kind of laid back like my A/D/D coaxes, but the tweeters were more crisp without being harsh and the mids are unbelievable, beat out the Morel Renissance 3 way set (with the 8's) down low, they are PHENOMINAL 6.5's!!!!

 

Any more suggestions out there?

 

IMO if money is not a factor the newest boston acoustics...set ya back about a thousand dollars.........MB quart makes a good set as well

Speakers- Top of the Line Components for mid-highs are MbQuart Preferably Q seriesThen comes focal, focal is pricey but seriously not as good as Mb quarts

Amps- Hifonics Makes the best amplifiers ever and I know for a fact that they are better then any other brand, try them out and see. Get the XI series

Subwoofers- JL Audio And Hifonics makes the best subwoofers, Trust me, you are in for a surprise when you see the JlW7 Subwoofer that JL audio makes or the Titan Series subwoofer that Hifonics makes

There is no right or wrong answer here. You like Quarts but personally I can't stand their tweeters.

Best amps ever huh? You know this for a fact? Better then ANY other brand huh? You know, your MB Quart comment is a matter of opinion, but this comment is just plain false.

 

I think Jl makes great subwoofers and amps, they may be a bit pricey but they are well worth it.

Rainbow car audio components are the best on the market they cost $7000 and come in a aluminum brief case but they need a good amp so Id recommend a Audison which will run ya about $4000.
