battery died/ now cab lights don't shut off..

Have a 96' Camaro z28 5.7 AT - Battery died while i was detailing the cab (my own stupidity). I jumped the battery, but now my back seat passenger lights along the side walls do not shut off, when the car is running, and without the keys in the ignition. Currently, the battery is disconnected until I can figure out how to trouble shoot. The battery(8yr) is new, has been in the car without problems for about a year now. Anyone know anything about the lighting.. or what may be causing this. I never thought such a minor thing would be such a big thorn in my side...

possibly one of your door jamb switches got stuck or went bad. try unplugging them and see if it helps.
