Is anyone very knowledgeable with factory navigation units?

I purchased and installed a factory Mopar RB1 navigation unit made by Alpine for Mopar. Its factory installed on 04 Grand Cherokees. Anyway itsd installed and everything works except apparently this unit also requires inputs from vehicle speed sensor and possibly a reverse trigger. Not sure what else if any, but the unit will not show my movement only turns. There is a wire coming out of the factory mopar wire harness I bought for this unit and there is a wire called PCI-bus that goes to the diagnostic junction port on mopar vehicles. Is there anything on a 97 Camaro Z28 that I can attach this wire to so it can get the rest of the info it needs to work correctly? From what I read it says the single PCi bus wire goes to diagnostic junction port or body control module. Any ideas?
Thanks
James
