Amp wiring question

I recently bought a 96 grand cherokee, i want to hook up my system out of the cai have all of the wires run from the amp to the battery, speakers, ground, and where the head unit is. the head unit does not have any outputs/inputs for AVs to go, and dont know where the remote wire goes..........looking for a way to hook it up with stock radio ( really nice, has steering wheel controls. any help would be appreciated. also, is there any way to keep the steering wheel volume/track controls working if i decide to replace the head unit to a pioneer or an alpine?

Thanks for your help

Youll need a line out converter. Dont skimp on this piece, a decent one is about $20-25. I do all mine behind the HU, where I grab the remote wire (12vS) as well. You can keep the steering wheel controlls with the PAC SWI-X, peice retails about $60.
