Angry Amp rca output?

My setup up is like this. I have a Mtx-6500d for the sub and Alpine MRV-T757 for the components. I have white wolf RF Rca running back from the head to the alpine. Then from the alpine outputs i have monster cable rca running to the MTX. I notice the bass does not sound as full. So i switched the Rca's, so it was running into the mtx then out to the alpine, and i got the same effect on the components but the bass sounded good. Do the out puts on these amps not support such high wattage?? Anyone run into this ??? thanks

I haven't gotten very good results in the past by using the amplifier's "thru puts". In cases like yours I've always used Y-adapters and got great results.

If i'm not mistaken, the MTX RCA outputs are low-pass only, so in theory it shouldn't be getting full range when you use these outputted into your Alpine.
Also, the amps have to use some of the voltage coming in off the head unit, leaving less for the outputted signal. your best bet is coming into the Alpine, then out to the MTX. Bumping up the inputted voltage as much as your Alpine can handle will help give a fuller, cleaner sound as well.

he said there was a lack of bass...

Does the Alpine have pass thrus? Try running through them to the MTX. Im assuming the deck only has one set of outputs correct?

Best bet is probably LS1 Rulez suggestion.
