Amp rack/box help!

ok so here is my problem http://community.webshots.com/s/imag...4RbgSpN_ph.jpg
as you can see its not the cleanest install ever...now what i was planning on doing building a simple box covering the amps but i was told that if i do that the amps wont get enough air and they will over heat. So what else can i do that will help hide those nasty wires without getting to custom? Or was i fed a lie about the amps over heating?

Just lay a piece of 1/2" MDF over the amps, cut two squares the size of each amp and bingo. The wires will be covered, but the heatsinks on the amps will still be out in open air...... so to speak.

You could build a raised panel (1/2 inch or so above "hump"), mount everything to that and run the wires under it. Drill holes in it and push the wires up. You could carpet it to match the interior too.

Or, you can get crazy like I did and build an amp rack with fans and a glass top... Link to my cardomain page is in my sig.
