Just got a Alpine 985 deck and I wanna brag how tight this deck is. Has a built in crossover capability with four levels to select for trebel and bass. The unit even has a frequency level to toggle the amp output that totally enhances the bass, nice! Has three outputs so I got two amps hooked up so far. Has a blackout feature that blacks out the display to save power, not sure if that even helps. I had an old pioneer deck and I swear this Alpine deck is slamming my frikin Kickers out my back window. I started laffing cuz when I got back in the office, I had to answer the office phone and my ears were still messed up and I was like huh?! Anyhow, I got the deck, mounting case, antena adapter and wire loom for $260. The owner of this place I went to is awesome. Most places I have gone to, you have to wire it yourself and do all that annoying crimping. Check this out, as part of the sale...the installers at no charge wire a harness so all you have to do is plug and play. I thought that was pretty dope! he was like " you dont need no stinkin wires from that box, we'll make you a pinche harness"
