Alarm w/ Remote Start

sup guys, ive been looking into getting a Viper Alarm with Remote Start at Bestbuy, but on the description it says compatible with most Automatic Cars, so anyof you with a Manual Transmission have Remote Start on your Vehicles please let me know if this is possible. thanks

yes it is possible, but if you remote start while in gear, it will hit what ever is in front of it when it jumps. I have done it to a ton of manuals, most shops wont do it for you, but i run the shop at my circuit city, so i do it for a little extra money and a waiver that says, if oyu remote start in gear and hit a wall, not my problem, lol...

hook the neutral saftey switch to your parking brake, that way if by any chance the parking brake is not engaged and the car is left solely in gear, the car wont remotestart. you will also have to use a relay to bypass the clutch when the remote start is activated.
