Is a aftermarket HU worth it?

I've just been thinking to myself if a aftermarket head unit is worth it with my plans. I plan on buying an amp to power a set of components and a sub in a stealth box. And pretty much forget about the rear panel speakers. So, would my best bet be to get the PAC OEM-1? I know there would be extra features with an aftermarket head unit, but I don't know. I like the idea of it looking stock too. What do you guys think??

Here's my plans for the system.
PAC OEM-1 or a AM HU??
Amp:Kicker KX550.3
Components: Either Infinity Perfect 6.1 or Focal 165 Slims
Sub:Alpine Type R 10" in a Stealth Box.

A good after market HU will clear up the sound quality a lot. Expecially with after market speakers. Although I'm just like you and still like the look of the factory in-dash unit.

I think I'm going go with the stock unit for now. If it's not up to my likings then I'll get a aftermarket head unit. I figure it's only $60 for the PAC OEM deal, so not a huge loss if I decide to get a different HU.
