do you have a Bose? If not, then look in the spare tire well and you can see a black panel. That's the stock amp. Just unbolt it and unplug the wires.

If you have the 5 speaker bose system, the amps are in the 5th speaker enclosure on the drivers side of the trunk. Take the whole top panel off, remove the entire enclosure, remove the speaker (you'll need to get to get at a screw here) Then sit down and take out all of those damn gold screws. Pull it carefully apart, and there are your amps. How you plan on bypassing them i have yet to figure out..i'm in the process as we speak!

I think that would be your best bet... let me know when you find out where the front speaker wires go to inside the car

yes you will run into problems doing this, best bet is to run the wires from the amp directly to the speakers. the amps will mess with the signal.

Are you adding an aftermarket HU? That and new speakers are generally the best first step to take in getting better sound. From there adding a sub/amp and then a 4 ch. amp would be the next steps.

Just unplug the speakers and ignore the stock amp. You'll need to run all new speaker wire either from the head unit or from the 4 ch.
