i have a kicker kx600.1 amp...i was thiking of getting a 12inch Shriva...would it be enough>? how would it sound...

The Shiva is a great sub. However, note that it has dual 8 ohm voice coils. If you plan on only using one sub, you will want to wire the coils in parallel, giving a final load of 4 ohms nominal. Meaning your amp will only output half power. (300WRMS is it?) I suggest check out the Elemental Designs K series. Nearly the same price, plus you can get them with lower impedence coils.

or just use two Shivas!!!
