I have a 99 Z28 convertible that has a Sony head unit, 10 disk changer and Affinity amp. Is it possible to install a complete Monsoon sytem with changer?
It was originally equipped with the standard radio and cd. I have some of the Monsoon system, (head and changer) that I purchased off of e-bay.

it is possible but why? It seems like a step backwards to me. If your current setup isnt using RCA's (unlikely) you could use the head unit and changer if you wanted. There is no difference other than the face of the headunits from the monsoon and non monsoons. To add the monsoon amp you will have to run speaker wire from headunit to amp and from amp to speakers (2 sets to the sail panels). Replace all the speakers, get an amp and the harness. But alot would depend on exactly how your current setup is put together
