Adding keyless entry module to '94 T/A with power locks...?

Please forgive my noob question, but I was curious if I could just add the TRW keyless entry module shown HERE (which is unfortunately OOS at the moment), since I already have power door locks, add the remotes and "synch" them with a jumper (paper clip, etc.) and I'd have a "factory" keyless entry? It obviously already has the actuator motors to lock/unlock them and I was hoping my plan will work...

Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it!

Here's the wiring diagram, from Shoebox:

I would say you are better off with a aftermarket keyless at this point. That TRW piece is not available and they are a fortune to fix. I have 2 of them and gave up, going to a viper setup. Just waiting for my Viper relay to arrive.

Since I already have the keyless remotes I was hoping that all I had to do to finish the job was score the module from a junk yard/pick-a-part type deal and I'd be in business but if that's not doable or I otherwise can't make it work that's exactly what I'll likely end up doing. There's some mods I can definitely get done inexpensively while there's others where there's no way to get it done cheap AND right!

Thank you both for the replies, I appreciate it!

Have you checked your RPO codes to see if you already have keyless entry and may just not have the fobs? If you do, and your power door locks work, it would be as simple as buying the correct key fob off ebay (about $20) and programming it to your car.

I bought my 94 Z28 16 years ago and it did not come with any key fobs. 3 years ago I decided to check my RPOs and found out I had keyless entry. So I ordered a fob, programmed it, and now I have functioning keyless entry. Wish I would have done it years ago...

AU0 is the code for keyless entry and AU3 is the code for power door locks, which you apparently have. I am not sure but it may show both for keyless entry.

My 94 has remote keyless entry. Both of those codes are shown on the Service Parts label.

1994 Firebird production - 50,718

AU3 - LOCK, SIDE DOOR - 46,325

AU0 - LOCK CONTROL, REMOTE ENTRY (KEYLESS ENTRY SYS)(INCL REMOTE HATCH CTL) - 34,838
