93 alternator to 95 conversion?

Anyway of using a 95+ 140 amp alternator on a 93 110-120amp car??

I'm getting ready to go to phase II of my stereo and I want to use hydraulics for the amp rack but as it is my battery level sits one notch above the red because of all the guages and toys etc. I upgraded my battery to alternator and ground wires to 4 guage.

The 93 alternators have I think 2 wires going to the voltage regulator on the back of the alternator. The 95+ have 3 wires.

Or the 93s have 1 wire and the 95+s have 2 wires. Something like that.

How can I use a 95+ alternator?

Should I try disassembling the alternators and swapping the connector plugs?
