Has anyone put 4 subs in their hatch ? I have 2 Solo-Baric 12"s and 2 JBL 10"s I want to put in as soon as I get another amp. probably like the Memphis class D I had before, someone wanted it more than I did, along w/ the Eclipse 15"s and my Chameleon deck. But anyway. I can't really use the flat part above the gas tank cause thats where my amps are probably going to go. Anyone got pics ???

 

I have seen it done. If you use the entire rear well and maybe some of the spare tire well and adjacent compartment, you should have enough air space for 4 subs. The setup I seen had the subs in the shape of a “W” in the rear well (in Car Audio and Electronics Magazine a couple years ago).

Don’t use more than one base driver.

If it were me, I would sell the 2 JBL’s and buy a third SoloBaric. Or just run 2 SoloBarics and spend the money on an amp.

 

yeah i wouldnt use 2 diff types of subs...if u had smaller subs id say get a double millhouse box and a pair for stealths and a rear wall amp rack....but u cant fit L7s in stealths.

Those pics should help. Two of those boxes in the t-top well... 4 Subs and still use the cargo cover!

Was my setup but sold it almost a year ago now. Someone on this board bought it for a steal.

 

I had a very similar set-up to what you're describing. It never got finished before I sold the car, though. Pics are here.
