ok so my old alternator is going so i bought a 200 amp alt. off ebay. My question is what else do i need to upgrade with the high output alt. Positive Battery cable? underdrive pulleys?.
What Do i need to go with 4G 2G?
Help me out im shooting to do the install on sat or sun just want to be ready to go by then

possible a smaller pulley for the alt -- how many amps is it capable of putting out at lower RPMs?

OK so i installed the new alternator, Now the car is starting really SLOW. What do i need to do is the battery not strong enough?

 

Duno if it applies much, but I've got an alternator up in that power range in my truck and I got some 2 Guage Welder Cable from it directly to the battery for charging and it hasnt given me any crap.
