u may not need that huge of an alternator, what are you running car audio wise? you may just need a capacitor

Prepare to get shot down by the CamaroZ28.com "Capacitors Suck, We Hate Capacitors, Down With Capacitors, Did We Mention We Hate Capacitors" debate team.

i have 2 caps already, this may seem funny, but i think the thump or vibration is causeing my problems. Does that make sence? Under load the voltage doesnt drop under 13, but the alternator gets hot quick so i dont know what to do

In case you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic. I think caps are a good thing. The problem is that every time they get mentioned, there are a few guys on these boards who will fight you to the death.

I don't hate caps at all. I just know that in most cases they are a waste of money and that they do more harm than good.
