2 extra wires in factory radio harness

I have two extra wires that come out of the same bundle of factory stereo wires. First of all a pervious owner before me cut the connector off the stock harness, and there is an extra brown wire and a grey wire more light grey than anything. Only factory grey wires are left front spke(-) light grey and the headlight dimmer wire is grey. Only brown one is for left rear spke(+), so one of the brown ones has to be an extra. Think I should just connect them one at a time and see what works and dont work? Or are there supposed to be two extra wires? Thanks for any input.

the one is porbably the dimmer, if youve found the illumination..the voltage should go up and down as you play with the dimmer switch.

Think if the one for the left rear speaker(+) was hook up wrong it wouldnt play would it? And I have 3 wires that are cut, blue for the power antenna turn off, theres no pink wire for it so I cant hook that one, a orange w/white stripe goes to ? and a solid orange for the headlight dimmer for proabally that light grey one. But I at least have one extra brown wire.
