Question 15's in the trunk of a convertible?

I'm still looking for a way to update my sound system and I was wondering can you put 15's say in the trunk of a convertible? I know the subs cannot fit if they are put side by side but what if you build a box and mount the subs at say an angle aiming inward, would they fit then?

Go to Wal-Mart, buy two enclosures. If they fit, keep them. If they don't, take them back

I could but I really like 15's and I want this to be the last system I'm going to put in this car, so I want to go all out on this one.

How much airspace do your subs take up?

LOL ^

If you're talking about CV strokers, forget about it. 15s are not going to be fitting in a vert. They require some rediculous amount of space. Most 15s that I remember checking out need about 2 1/2 feet roughly. The strokers were something like 4 if I remember right, maybe more, maybe less. Overall, I'd say don't bother with at 15. They're big and boomy, but they also take a lot of amp to power them and the size of the box and building it would be a serious pita. Go for a 12 or two and I'm sure you'll be equally happy.

Actually the 12 inch Stroker needs at lesat 4 cubic feet, I think the 15 needs a liitle bit more but I'm not sure. The 15's I want only need 1.5 cubic feet of air space per sub.
