Buy an amp that can deliver as many Class-D watts as you can afford. And stick with a name brand you can trust. Don't buy some el cheapo amp that claims to pump out 1000 watts for $200.

Anything that'll deliver 1000-1500w RMS will do a nice job.

It does make a lot of noise with lower power, but it really comes alive above 1KW RMS.

Class AB or Class D makes no difference.
