On my brother's 01 SS the stock 12 Disc changer shows err for every disc. The changer shuffles and loads cds from all slots but always comes up err. Is this a prob with the changer itself or is there a common problem that I am overlooking. Any input would be greatly appriciated

 

make sure the cds are loaded correctly.......mine did the same thing,,,....pop the magazine in and out a couple of times...make sure the door is closed...it will work....its always something simple like that
