Nice podcast, and yes I was considering those tail lights for my "Cliffjumper" themed Camaro. http://www.pfyc.com/pc/CA1151/CALIGH...12+Camaro.html

I first saw them on Chevymall, but the $600 price tag was way too much. The PFYC is more reasonable.

In fact to order new OEM RS tail lamps from the various parts catalogs. It looks like $63.70 is what it costs per lamp.

Dealer cost is about $92.32 per tail light. So $369.28 is what it would cost should you buy the tail lamps from the dealer. So it looks like for $55 more one could have Transformers tail lights.

I'm tempted but I'm having to pay off a few bills from my vacation, and the money I spent on the high wing spoiler, new deck lid, and stripes.

If it were me, I would do either "smoke" or clear for the lenses. The Red lenses look like the non RS tail lights.

 

Great podcast! I love that you guys are willing to help out our camaro clubs setting up a forum for us. I have been trying to get someone in our club to set something up but it never happens. thanks. If you can do this for us it would be great!!
