I have been refunded my $180 after filing a PayPal claim against swk1955. His response follows below. I have retracted my I3C complaint against him. If his response has any truth to it, I wish he had just contacted me immediately and refunded my money at his earliest opportunity - I am not out to needlessly trash anyone's reputation and this situation could have been avoided.

The box was scheduled for Local pick up on January 11th. Also on January 11th I was supposed to recieve 2 packages taht never showed up but where marked as delivered. I believe someone stole the packages from my porch and a dispute with UPS has been open

I negotiated with swk1955 for 2 fenders and a header panel for my 1995 camaro z28 for $180 shipped and paid him via PayPal. That was on 1/7/2007. My last message from him was on 1/10/2007: He stated that he would send me a message with the shipping info that evening. That was the last I heard from him and he has since not responded to any PMs or emails either through this site or via PayPal's "Dispute Resolution Center".

I was hoping he would eventually respond and that this was "just a misunderstanding" but more than 3 weeks with no response and no parts is too much for even my patience.

It is now 1/31/2007 - I am now escalating the PayPal dispute to a claim against him and reporting him via the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center. I really hate to do this as $180 is not such a big deal but letting it go would encourage more scumbags to pull crap like this.

 

man I keep seeing more of this crap everyday....makes me not want to deal with people anymore
