My guess is that all 3 will be based on the SSR's chassis. I suspect the Belair & Nomad will come out at the same time & the Nomad will be a 2 door wagon version of the Belair.
One of the big things about the Belair was that it would be very cheap to produce. Roll in Nomad with that program & it becomes even cheaper. Finally, it simply doesn't make sense that a car company that wouldn't invest a few pennies to bring out a Z06 anniversairy Camaro would invest the money, time & effort to modify a Trailblazer chassis for the SSR, and sell what? A few thousand a year if that for a few years...at a loss?? Lutz's mandate is that every vehicle has to pay it's own way, so I sure there's more to it than meets the eye.
I really hope they make the Nomad. My kids needed more room than the back of my Trans Am could provide... and I like to carry big loads now and then. I got tired of waiting... so I got this:

I traded my 98 GTP and my 02 Trans Am for a 2004 GTP Competition Group, sport red metallic with parchment leather. The great quality and crashworthiness of its Impala sister was a big factor in my decision. I love my GTP! (Still have my IROC of course
)
2004 Grand Prix GTP Comp G || Brilliant Red Metallic 1990 IROC-Z Camaro, K&N, Camaro SS takeoff muffler

WOW very nice car..now here is an apperance idea..get some Comp G badges for the sides somewhere..under the doors crease area..isnt that where the show car had them?? or not..but its lacking somethign to say its not just a regualr GP...ya know..SWEET car..I really like it..I liked the old ones too..been wanting a GTP for a long time now..
The bel air/nomad/SSR...as long as the Nomad looks more Bel air than just an SSR with just a fixed cap....dont know..just dont know..
Im waiting to see these cars come to life to have some faith back in GM..I am starting to drool at other car companies..the one top on my list is Infinity/Nissan..they are making really eye catching autos..with performance to match!

Nope. The reason for this Camaro gap in the 1st place is that there wasn't a chassis available for a new Camaro short of FWD.
The 4th gen chassis was 20 years old, Cadillac initially had sole custody of Sigma, a proposal of putting it on the Vette chassis went nowhere, & the V chassis was scheduled to be replaced in 2-3 years. This problem will be solved for the 2007 model year.

Good decision to keep yours, unless, you know, you wanna sell it to me
Caps, Jason, thanks for the feedback! My new 'WS6' is great so far, I put on a K&N this weekend and got a 3.4 s/c pulley to put on next weekend, good for about 20-30 HP. These cars are a blast... and no worries when the snow flies
Sorry, IROC not for sale...
check out traderonline.com - I did a search for 1985-1990 V8 Camaros - 182 found!

I spoke with Mr. Moss on friday and he said the Bel Air probably wont make it to production and he was pretty upset about it. It may have been because there were others around. But he stated that he really liked the idea of a midsize 4 seater vert and really didn't like the idea of chevy not having one.
