Would you take this or a V6 Mustang?

At least they're not comparing it to a Z/28 anymore!
At least they're not comparing it to a Z/28 anymore!
Lets see:
A Police Tahoe Truck that GM pushed as a competitor to the Crown Victoria. The people pushing this actually believed it!
A company policy that diverted all it's resources to expanding their truck lines. Former CEO Zarella's biggest regret was that he didn't send more resources towards trucks (yes, he actually said this).
Our own Camaro representative defending SUVs to the point of saying that GM is simply producing the vehicles that people want, and indicating it's not GM's fault for starving cars in favor of trucks.
Now this.
What kills me is that they STILL can't tell the difference between a car buyer and a truck buyer. Like the Tahoe police truck, GM chooses to divert people to trucks when they (through their own stupidity) don't have a vehicle to offer the public that competes with what the competition has.
"We don't have a Mustang, but we have this Colorado". Sounds alot like that assine "We don't have the Camaro anymore, but we do have the SSR" line repeted with alarming frequency not too long ago.
I guess GM's mindset hasn't completly recovered from the truck/SUV mentality just yet.
