Why does GM continue producing cars like the Blazer, Caviler,etc?

Or were you thinking of the Trailblazer, which is totally separate from the S10-based Blazer that is the topic of this discussion? The Trailblazer that came out as a 2002 (with the 270-275 hp 4.2L DOHC Inline 6) is not about to be cancelled, if that was your concern.
Yep, my bad, I was thinking and talking of 2 different things, it was late
The Cav, with the Ecotec has a SC bolt on that can up the power to around 200hp I'm told, and I've seen some near stock ones in the 14's with some stockers at the 15.0 barrier!. And with the bright colors and ground effects it's getting some "tuner car" attention, at least around here. I've seen some really tricked out Cav's and Sunfires that really caught my eye.

05 is the final model year for every one of those vehicles you listed

i fail to see exactly what is wrong with those cars to bring up such a topic?
