Who's going to The NCM Camaro/Firebird Gathering?

And wants to meet up with folks from this board?

I propose we meet for breakfast Saturday at Jerry's Restaurant ...on the Continental Inn Parking lot. Earlier is better in case anyone is planning to participate in the drag racing. Say 7:30 AM?

Reply here please and we can take it to e-mail if necessary.

p.s. As far as any secrets or special info goes ...Branden had it right:

I'm definitely in...got the time off from work and the girlfriend in on it. I want to make reservations this weekend.

Anyone have advice on where to stay or how/where I can clean my car for the event?

The Continental Inn and the Country Hearth Inn are very close, and closest, to the Museum ...the rest are one exit south of there ... close to the Go-Kart track and most of the restaurants.

All are listed on the event registration form ...

https://www.corvettemuseum.com/regis...stration.shtml

There's a coin-op car wash up the road from the museum. There will be lots of folks able to give you directions once you arrive.

See you there

On the road I look something like this http://www.perldev.org/media/camaro.jpg
minus the number and helmet. Custom plate: POSSUM.

Still softening up the wife, but I'm still planning to be there.

My Camaro-nut son lives near there, but has never been to the Vette plant. If it were up to him, he come out here & drag me away.

I will be there with some of my other club members. We are at the Drury Inn on Scottsville Rd. All the hotels close to the musuem are already booked solid. It would be great to meet some of you guys.

I might make an appearance if I don't have any major tests coming up the following week. I gotta wait for my college courses to start on Monday when I get my agenda's before I make any decision. It would be tight to meet some of you guys though.

Doug you don't have to stay in Nashville there are lots of places to stay that would be about as far away. I think Ft. Knox, Ft Campell aren't to far away and they have hotels and stuff. Also if Nashville becomes to full or if you are coming from the North you could stay in Louisville, KY.

Clarkesville Tennesee with the ex.

The ex & I are on really good terms and my son has a couch in his room, so I won't have to worry about a place to stay if I go.

I am planning on going now that they have the agenda posted and registration is only $30 bucks per person this year. It was $60 last year! Also looks like the event has grown a day this year (Thurs.)
I reccomend this event to everyone, I went last year and had lots of fun. And this year seems to have more events.

The only bad part for me is that my car was in a little mishap recently and is no longer in "near mint" condition or aleast the passenger side front fender isn't. And I am not going to have the extra money to get fixed before the show.

I just hope that there are more vendors this year.

I hope to meet some people from this board, last year I didn't meet anybody from the board except Red Planet and two other people not on this board (at least I don't think) Jim Scouten from Car & Driver TV and Tom Henry.

Doug, you shouldn't have any problem getting a room at exit 22.

Don't even count on Scott showing up for breakfast with us. We'll all get a chance to meet him as the weekend unfolds. This will be to put faces to names from this forum.
