It says its a CGI image, but what mag came up with it, and when? The car looks very real for some reason? I posted this up in another thread, but never got an answer. I wanted to know where this picture came from.

 

Yeah that car does look really real. Besides that I can't help you with anything else cause I don't know much.

 

Oh that pic! I found it a long time ago and was wondering the same. It is fake. I think they GuionM said it's a Photoshop of the SSR. It's not real and was in a mag a long while back. I'm sure he'll come in here an post it again. He knows pretty much everything or will find it out! Glad I could help with the little I know.

It's a photo shop R&T did using the SSR, and they even said they created it to show what it "could" look like. Look at the writing underneath the rear wheel written sideways and it tells you who did the picture.

 

It's ugly anyway. Fitting for the spawn of the SSR... Could be a cool caddy though if the grill were more refined and the long look of it was kept the same.

I'm fairly sure that was pre-SSR, but yes it was a very long time ago in next gen Camaro terms. i.e. It's not even close.
