Thoughts ?

After looking at the chassis components of the kappa platform which uses a CTS rear , and given the Soltice will be priced around $20K , and they put it behind 3900 lbs , 400 hp and a manual . Wouldnt it be a fair guess that Zeta will get this rear end as well or at the very least a close variation of ?

THe CTSv is said to be getting a 500HP V8 in the next year or two. Hopfully that will be the rear end that comes standard on V8 Camaros.

It would be nice to have a rear that can hold the power when using slicks right out of the box. The Mustang has had this and has always had an advantage in this way and the F-body just had to beat it down the track with power rather than launch. Now, if the strong rear is there, the Camaro will have both and be that much more potent.

Yes at the moment. However it is thought it will get some HO
6.0 LS2 since the 5.7 is being phased out, sooner then later.

The rear end being developed for Zeta (especially the higher powere versions) are different from what's out today in Sigma or Kappa. So don't start predicting just yet.

BTW: Cadillac CTSv will be getting a version of the LS7 once the LS6 is phased out year after next.

Yes, it should be roughly 500hp.

ahh, my single biggest problem with all fbodys for the last 20 years. i dont mine 305s and autotragics and bullet shaped bodies and a few squeaks back in the day, but dammit the rear end shouldnt break every time you start the car

i wont mind what they put in it so long as its not weak
