I read about this thing a while back, just wondering if there are any hopes of production or not.

 

About the same as the SSI cover girl sneaking in my window and making me a very happy man now............. Shes not there......damb!!!

 

It was deemed too cool and promptly killed.

 

They decided that it wasn't wise to try and beat the Lightening.

 

It is on track...but as always GM isn't showing thier hands just yet

 

I thought I heard that TT 4.2L might go in the Envoy and then the Trailblazer will get the 6.0--aka Trailblazer SS.

IMO it's too bad we are not seeing any car applications of this enine family. Has tons of potential.

 

I know the last corp I worked at, Borg-Werner, who supplied the KKK turbo's for the TT Trailblazer project submitted a proposal and costs for mass production. GM shelved the project for future needs??? oh well it was cool while it lasted, don't hold your breath waiting for a turbocharged SUV from GM anytime soon.
