What I would really like to see from GM
What I would really like to see from GM
What happened to the 2-door American sedan full-sizer? That died off? BMW 8/6 series make me drool. As do Eldorados, Rivieras, and all sorts. I wouldn't mind a full-sized luxury coupe built by GM. It would probably have to bear the Buick nameplate. Maybe resurrect the Riviera? But make it RWD. With a V8, but not a race car, just with some get up and go.
I would proudly park a newly-ressurected Riviera to any social events where X5s, AMG benzes, etc. were present. It would be nice to have a big 2-door American sedan to stand out. Think Miami vice!
Is there any more market for one? Whenever I drive my dad's Riviera, I love it. Big, luxurious, pretty quick with the supercharger, and TWO DOORS!

Basically, a while back, Buick was working on that very thing.
The problem with the idea was that somebody thought you could share that platform with a certain car whose named could have started with a "C" and ended with an "O"... which would have been a disaster.

They just need to bring back the Riviera. RWD, V8, plush leather, but don't make it too high profile cause I don't wanna see 'em everywhere, I want a one of a kind! Right now with the current Riviera my dad gets people in M5s roll down their windows and ask about it. It has always had a unique design.
