agreed, i think making it just that little bit longer makes it look a whole lot better

I love the looks of this car I just hope that someone at GM has the sense to put this into works so we can have plans for a new gen f-body in the near future

I'll take mine in Hugger Orange, with the slotted headlights, and 6 speed

Ditch the big RIMS. It's a trend in new cars which I don't like.

Edit: Sorry to dig up this 4 month old thread lol, I had it open from a link from another thread and meant to respond to the contemporary thread bu oh well

the main body of the car, and the lower front lip are about 2-3 inches too tall, the deck lid is a little too long and to tall as well, don the little wave to it doesn't look nice. Otherwise its a killer looking car

hmmmmm i like it but i think it needs some of the "bubble" taken out of it a few "solid" body lines along the driverside (a camaro tradition) and the rear needs a little less vette97-03/95-99 eclipse look, i hate the "big ***" look in the rear...and the tailights if they looked alittle bit more like the 69 lights hell i'd be sold but i have to admit its a step in the right direction!!! i just wonder what the hell the powerplant will be????? Not bad tho, especially in electric blue!!! bad a$$!!

It's not bad, but I'm just not fully into the new styling most car company's are coming out with *cough2005mustangcough* And the wheels are ALWAYS huge in concept drawings to fill out the car more, if chev ran with it I'm sure it would keep performance in mind and run with 17"s or so.

I like the overall styling, but the front-end looks like it was slammed into a wall.

That is sweeeeeeeeeet!!! It definitely looks better being slightly longer than the original.

Out of ~38,000 members on this board, does nobody know someone at GM that we could e-mail this concept to and try to implement it?!?!?!?!

That car would be absolutely amazing with a ~450 HP, 427 LS6 based engine and a 6-speed! I'm getting excited just thinking about it! Heck, I might even start a savings account "just in case"!

BTW: I can't believe I didn't see this thread when I went around in February?!?

I'm pretty sure this concept was drawn up by one of our graphically gifted board members, though I can't remember his name. I'm gonna move this on over to the 5th-gen discussion forum. I think at least one GM company-man (Redplanet, right?) cruises over there from time to time. Maybe he can bring this to the right eyes.

This concpet was done by a Chevelle guy and first posted on a Chevelle forum. I don't remember the name of the software, but it is a VERY expensive program...I think he's currently an engineering student.

The software is probably some CAD, I don't think it's 3-D Studio Max.
