Very, very strong rumors are saying that the Corvette is getting a supercharged V8 soon. We are hearing about (and may have seen pictures of) a truck version. What trucks would this be going in? Trailblazer SS? Silverado SS? Maybe Avalanche SS? GMC Denali line? Cadillac Escalade V-series?

I don't see the point to a $50K sport truck so I'd rather see the Silverado SS get the LS2 and stay under $29,995

In addition to my post above, remember the Tahoe SS concept from the old body-style? It came out as Tahoe Limited. What about a new Tahoe SS? Give it the powertrain of the Escalade and dechrome it.

 

And that is why they sell more special edition Hemi Rams (Rumble Bee, Daytona) then SRT-10's

2WD LS2 Chevy trucks with only the LT(1) opt. package would sell very well.

 

What reason do we have to think its a 4th generation of small block? It appears to be a blown varient of the other LSx series engine.

 

LS2 and later engines are considered Gen4s.

 

Strong rumors of a S/C Gen4 SBC showing up in what level of Vette? The "Blue Devil" only? Or lower models as well?

6.0+L of displacement, no AFM, at least 2 roots style blowers likely 1 front breather for the vette and a rear breather for the trucks, 6 speed auto for sure and possibly 6 speed stick.
