White with Orange stripes would be my first guess.

My second would be the typical conceptual Orangish Metallic.

My third and most desirable guess would be SOM.

 

That had a Red GTO and a yellow GTO going around to all the shows in 2003

I think the Camaro will be Silver.

...and the Impala SS and CTS-V were first shown in black. Although that is expected for a lux car, black = classy

WS6 TransAms were shown in Black a lot too.

 

STOP! You're getting me excited. That's my #1 choice for my next Camaro, followed closely by Barbados Blue Metallic.

 

I will say black, but only because if you remember...the poster vehicle for the 4th gen was a black 99 (maybe 98) SS. I think they will stick with that.

And on a side note, wasnt the Z06 the first Corvette to be debuted in any color other than Red. I wanna say that I have read that, and noticed it myself. Anyone else?

 

I love your guesses. Man, if that thing in January is white and orange, Scott and Doug will have to keep me from jumping on the platform to get a picture of me in front of it, wearing my 30th hat and polo shirt

Although, Sunset Orange Metallic would be awesome, too. Dad would like that one

 

I really think they'll stick with a light colored metallic....

 

My thought is that the concept will either be red, Hugger orange with white stripes or white with red stripes like the 25th/30th anny editions. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will live up to the hype.

 

Please don't let it be SOM. That color is being used for everything, and if the Challenger is painted something like it, I think GM should avoid orange althogether. A nice blue would work, and you can't go wrong with red.

 

Blue is too tranquil, and black is too dark. It only looks good on a vehicle with great body lines, and only in person.
Yellow seems to be the Z06's collor, since very shot of it is in yellow.
SOM would be nice, but with the Charger wearing a similiar color, I think thats a no no.
Any other color like purple, green, brown and silver all look dull and boring or just not for a Camaro
So all that there is left is red.
Its very attention grabbing. Its in your face, and also helps bring out great body lines. The 35th Anni Camaro was red, and I also thing that since its 2007, the 40th anni of the Camaro, that the concept will deffinatly wear stripes. It wore them for 25, 30 and 35 models. I can only assume that this will as well.
So I vote for a red car with black stripes.

 

Red would be a nice homage to a certain Camaro cheerleader inside GM....

...however, I'd like to see maybe a copper color or a chromed blue.

 

after thinking about all day(alittle slow at work), if the car is "heritage themed" isn't there a possibilty that we'll get a heritage color.......say........Hugger Orange with white stripes?

 

I'd agree that Hugger Orange seems apropriate. Give it a white hockey stripe and some white leather seats please!

 

Not going to happen....as much as we around here "get it" they damned near had to give away the 30th anniversary models like Jason's.

I like a dark-er metallic green...But it'll most likely be red.
