You guys crack me up.

I like the new GTO....but I thought that this one had some of the retro cues some people here have been asking for.

Stacked headlights and split grill from the '65-'67 GTO. Honeycomb wheels reminiscent of the optional early '70s GTO wheels.

And TA-DA.......HOODSCOOPS.

The scoops are good. They don't stick out that much. They blend with the Monaro lines.

Sorta looks like a block of cheese to me. I do, however, like the hoodscoops.

At first glance, I didn't truly have a handle on whan I was seeing, so I stepped away for a while to let this concept sink in better. There've been way too many knee-jerk reactions 'round here as of late... EDIT-Not this post per se, just the boards in general...

After doing other things, here I am looking at the work again. In my opinion it's really not bad at all!

Seems to me that the front end is a bit 'too true' to the actual lines of the '03 model (Which I think looks great in and of itself); the side treatment's a little busy for my tastes, but the wheel wells (although rough), would certainly give this concept character. The wheels look good to me.

I wonder what this concept would look like if the front end was 'squared off' just a little bit more, like the '68 (I can see it's influence is already present here) or even the '68? - a personal favorite

Also, the headlight positioning reminds me of the new Infiniti G35 (unintended as that is, I'm sure - don't hit me!!!)

I think I see what is intended, and like this concept's potential

I agree that it does have potential. And Ude, it is not fine the way it is.
