Wagoner Announces More GM Leadership Changes

Basically the biggest is that Denny Moody receives yet another promotion.

Denny Mooney, 50, currently chairman and managing director of GM Holden Ltd. in Port Melbourne, Australia, has been named to the new position of GM vice president, global vehicle systems and integration, effective August 1. Mooney will oversee the implementation of best practices for GM's global engineering organization and work with regional engineering leaders to better leverage the benefits of GM's global vehicle development system. He will report to Jim Queen, GM group vice president, global engineering.
Sounds good to me!

That is excellent news. As long as it doesn't distract him from Holden to much. Or is someone replacing him there?

Chris Gubbey will replace Denny Mooney as GM Holden's chairman and managing director, effective from 1st August 2007.

Mr Gubbey, who was not available today for comment, joins GM Holden Ltd after a stint as executive vice president of Shanghai General Motors.

It seems as if GM Holden will be more important to GM global and GM Daewoo will be more important to GM Holden. Seems like a nice little set of stair steps they have going there.
