Anyone else seen these lately?

VW's concepts are looking pretty good, some of them look like they'd be really successful. The Concept R looks just stunning (Ext anyway). I like the idea of the Microbus coming back, although, unless soemone grew up in the era of the originals, I think they'd have a hard time marketing it to youth - I mean, with all the sharp angled, new age looking mini vans out there today...

The Beetle Dune looks like it'd be interesting with its adjustable suspension and "Baja Beetle" flavor. The problem though is there aren't many men, who this car seems geared to that want to be seen in a Beetle (thus is my experience anyway).

Who knows.... Nice overall concepts tho - Except for the truck...

the new beetle dune was/is in the microsoft pc game 'Midtown Madness 2.' That game has been out for at least two years. It looks just like that in the game too, so that concept is by no means new. It is a cool concept, but honestly... who would buy that?

 

The Microbus has been put on hold indefinitely last I heard. The mid-engine Concept R would be a nice roadster if the price is kept down.
