This one is the only one I like. Why does everyone think it has to have a damn hatchback!

I see things I like in most of them but don't like a single car as a whole. The first car and the one that has some Third Gen lines in it have the most potential.

To those that want retro, buy a 1st Gen. And people want hatch's because they are more useful than a regular trunk.

Hatchbacks rule, you can fit a lot more in the rear and you don't hit your damn head on the rear glass when you're in the backseat.

I voted for the last one. Wish he did a rear view, but for some reason it grabbed me. The first one is very nice, but it almost looks like Cadillac styling.

On http://sweb.cz/gt1750/camaro_by_gt1750.jpg I love the way he did the rear with 3rd gen-like lights, but the front end is lacking.

The first one gets my vote. It's the best looking, bar none. It looks fresh.

The rest reminds me of something else, which I personally don't like.

The uberchad might as well be a first gen, Brangeta looks like a cross between C6 and Aston Martin DB7, the GT1750 reminds me too much of my old, beloved 92 RS, the greenhouse on the automobile looks like the NSX concept, which drew a few things from Enzo. The rest just didn't stir me.

They were all fun to look at, though. I love seeing all the different drawings. If I could draw and have half the imaginations, I'd think up something.

Chris's is still my favorite of the bunch. However I also like Sharpshooter SS's (although its a little smallish to be a true Camaro imo) and Brangenta yours is nice if its to follow the C6 as being a slight evolutionary change.

The rest are ok (nice work btw) but they fall into two distinct categories... (a) looks too much like an earlier generation Camaro (mostly 2nd and 3rd gen) or (b) looks like something else.

In particular, the current second place car. Guys... its a freakin' Mitsubishi! If that's what you want... go buy one and leave!

I can appreciate the work and effort that went into each one of these drawings, but to tell you the truth...none of them really light my fire.

If I had to choose, maybe the first one would be a good starting point with some revisions.

I'm with you,Chaz, in that I was a bit disappointed with all of them. Of the ones that are truely well done, only one really says "Camaro" to me. So that's the one I voted for on C&G. I hope to see considerably more from the real 5th gen when it arrives. To be fair, getting a 5th gen Camaro right has got to be the most challenging automotive design problem of the current day. So much rides on it for Chevy that they simply can't afford anything but a homerun.

Brangeta: You did a great job,as did Crispey and Plum and a few others but the real thing has to be at once a Camaro, and yet, completely new. Evolution won't cut it, nor will full retro. On first sight, you have to be able to say "That's a Camaro!" but it still has to be something you've never seen before. A daunting task to be sure.

Yah, that would be Kris' work.

I liked the first one a lot.

I agree that this one looks cool http://sweb.cz/gt1750/camaro_by_gt1750.jpg - i just wish he would have done something different to that terrible front end.

I voted for Brangeta's...i really like how hw used the C6 cues. Unfortunately IF we get a camaro it'll probably end up being retro...something I wouldn't be a fan of.

I agree with the majority of people who voted, #1 and #7 were the best two.

#7 got my vote.

That red CGI Camaro originated from a sketch I did.
Heres the story at PHR's website: PHR

Kris Horton does amazing 3D models. Keep your eyes open, for another sketch based on inside info. I will post it here as well as at C&G. Maybe I Kris will be kind enough to render it in 3D for us!

this one is awesome... the *ss end is SWEET with the flip up spoiler, and the front end looks modern and mean, and also youthfull.
the center console looks a little mustangish, but that can be changed
nice headlight shape, smooth lines, nice wheels.
