updated the updated design
Re: updated the updated design
notice that the second has Tires, ground clearance, rear view mirrors, an antenna, door handles, wipers, and the front bar deleted.
Also forgot to mention the body lines were added i.e. front bumper to fender and hood.

VERY COOL! I love this as opposed to the rehashed frst gen boxes we've been seeing.
Do you take requests? If you have time, can you shorten the grill and add a lip spoiler?
Re: updated the updated design
Yeah, I like that too... like the prev. poster said... make the grill slightly (about an eighth) less tall. Nice work - proprtions are quite Camaro-esque with the long hood & short deck!

Sure, I can do that a little later today.
Re: updated the updated design
when I try to change the grill, it looks exactly like a 98+ with different headlights, so that does not work (not that I don't like that front end, you can't drop a car for 6 or 7 years and bring it back with the same look).
I will try to clean it up again though. First I owe a guy a color rendering of a BMW project.

BTW - how about adding a 2nd gen inspired style ducktail spoiler?

I didn't do the rear end on the Second version, because it needs a lot more work. But on the first version, the lights are lines that trace the outside shape of the 69 tails, they would be LEDs, so the small shape would be plenty bright enough.

I like the idea of using an 'edge' light or 'halo' to define the shape.
Re: updated the updated design
well fluorescent lights might work on a concept car, but LEDs are brighter, and consume less power. Also Fluorescent lights have a shorter lifespan, LEDs on the other hand last I think 50 times longer than conventional bulbs.
But the good thing about them is that since they are so small they can be placed in any configuration.
