I dont mind it... then again, I am one of the few tollerant of Bangle...

 

I'd hit it. I like the small contours and lines on it. I think it flows pretty well. Now bring on the V8 M version!

 

Damn you bangle . You have single handily took BMW's styling from gorgeous to very questionable.

I guess I'll never understand why so many people dislike Bangle's style...

The only one of his designs that I really think is totally awkward looking is the Z4...

I think this is a really nice looking car.

 

I like It. I've always liked the 3 series and now its gonna have more of the edginess of the new 7 series and the 5 series (5 series is my favorite BMW).

Almost bought a used 3 series a few months ago, but they are overpriced used for the mileage they typically have.

 

A friend of mine has the Z4. Very nice. But as a roadster that style and design looks much better (though still awkward).

 

I even like the Z4....

I've not seen anything I didn't like from Bangle yet....the style is a tad funky on the SUVs but it still works. the X3 is a good looking vehicle.

 

Ya, I haven't really been "put off" by any of his stuff... I think the new 7-series and 5-series are a lot nicer looking that the previous versions... the older ones really looked dated to me. But, it seems the majority of people preferred the old styles.

Even the Z4, when I say it looks "awkward"... I'm not totally put off by it, but it's likes it's trying too hard, and it has too many odd body lines, especially in profile.

 

I am the same way. I don't like the Z4 at all to be honest except for the front. I actually really like the 5 series, and the 7 is pretty good too but I would have to say that the low point on all new BMW's are the tail lights. They all look beter than thier predasessors that were way too boring and conservative and forgettable.

After saying that, the pics of that 3 series are terrible. That design looks like Bangle-lite mixed with another designers imput. That grill is awful. The best BMW grill is the new 5 series.
