actually, i believe there were 6 guys that reported the problem in that thread.... hmmm....
steered the car and gave too much gas? what does that mean? you can turn and accel at the same time in a vette? lol

Hmmm...it really sounds like an improper installation of the crank pulley. I know for the LS1, the bolt is torque-to-yield. When installing a pulley, you need to use the old pulley bolt and tighten it down to 250 lb/ft. Then, you remove the bolt and install a NEW bolt and torque it to spec...

wow .. I rather hope its just a manfacturing problem(pully/bolt not assembled right), not a massive fundamental design flaw!!

I saw it yesterday. Truth is, things like that happen, especially on first year cars. I cant honestly say that I'm suprised. I'm sure 2 or 3 more things will pop up before the end of the year.
