I know that there is a huge cost difference and they are aimed at different ends of the market....but which of these Chevy trucks do you think will be more fun to drive?

 

I'd pick the SS.. More room and power to haul stuff.. Enough power for daily driving and passing people.. Would be anoying to park in to tight city spots though.. And I'm sure it'll drink more gas... but then again, its a truck..

 

ZQ8 should be more fun to drive. It probably performs better in every aspect. Acceleration wise they should be about even.

 

If I'm going to be driving a truck its got to be big. I'm from Texas, big trucks are the cool thing. Girls love'em! I jump on every chance I get to take my dads F250 super duty out.

SO I'm voting for the SS. Looks more fun anyway.

I'd go with the SS, can't go wrong with 20" rims and a 6.0L V8

 

I haven't driven either of them, of course. And I'm pretty sure the SS will be substantially faster.

But I'd bet the ZQ8 will be more fun to drive, with it's lighter weight, RWD and manual trans.

The $20,000 savings is just a bonus.

 

I would say the new SRT from dodge its got the hemi, hood scoop, nice mag wheels, and of sub woffers in the cab? can we say daily cruiser that hauls ***? and is also fun to drive. I mean the SS is nice but its not that fast and way over priced

 

I vote for the regular cab RWD 6 speed Silverado SS

I wonder if they'll do a Colorado SS?

 

Im a callow youth, what does the ZQ8 look like and do special?

 

The ZQ8 is a suspension package that lowers the Colorado 2" and it has some cool looking (for once) 17" wheels and the bumpers and grill are body colored.

To me the Silverado SS is cool but not for the price and not against the competition. I picked the Colorado because of its affordable price and general usefull fun the lil' pickups deliver. While I don't expect the ZQ8 to beat the SS in a drag race (Heck they both will get crushed by the Ram SRT and Lightning) it will be easier to handle and use.

 

I would pick the SS I had a blast driving the hell out of it.
