Is the Trailblazer SS getting the 6L80 trans next year?
Everyone seems to be raving about the TB SS. I can imagine with a 6L80 six speed, it would be an even sweeter package - in performance and fuel economy.
Anyone know if the 6L80 will be in TB SS by '07?

I haven't heard anything, but I agree with you whole heartedly.
From the numbers someone put up in another thread (I think by you), the 6 speed slushbox (why are they nicknamed 'slushbox'?) would really wake up the driving dynamics of the vehicle.

Since the TB is so close to a remake , its probably pretty safe to say the 4 speed will finish out the current model . And the next gen SS , if there is one , will most definately use the 6 speed .
