Toronto auto show

Does anybody know if there will be anything exciting at the Toronto auto show, opening tomorrow? I will be there on monday, I'm hoping to get another look at the SS (saw it in detroit), and the 05 mustang.

Me too. I was looking forward to seeing the Sixteen but since it's in Chicago right now I think we'll be SOL.

Unhappy

Anyone know if Neon SRT-4 will be sold in Canada? Someone said that it won't.... which means this sucks. Which also means there isn't much to see at the Autoshow if so many concepts are absent.

It always gives me the impression that TO autoshow is an afterthought - only existing models that we already know about are there, but when it comes to concepts - only a small percentage of them is available.

Actually, not quite. We've got engine-less car body that we use as sleds... pulled by dogs, of course.

We are quite excited about this Neon SRT-4. Its light weight and ground effects (especially the rear wing) will make it easy on the dogs.

Which reminds me, I've got to build me an extra iglu.. I need a place to store my car.

Talking

I was at the show today (Saturday) for 8 hours...
Canadian jokes aside, here are the GM concepts and production cars at the Toronto Autoshow:

Concepts:
Cadillac Cien
Pontiac Solstice
GM Autonamy
Buick Y Job (in the classics section of the show)

Canadian debuts:
Chevy Malibu
Chevy SSR (in yellow)
Pontiac Grand Prix
Restyled J-bodys (Cavalier and Sunfire)
>Cavalier "Z-type"
The "Chewoo", a bright blue Aveo
50th Anniversary Corvette
GMC XUV
Cadillac XLR
Cadillac SRX
and many many many more....

This year, GM is back in Skydome, taking up about 70% of the venue, including Saturn, Saab Isuzu. Nissan and Audi take up the rest.
So, GM fans can start at the Skydome first.
Be sure to check out the "GM stage show". This years program features a circus troup, with bungee stunts, acrobatics and other craziness.

Ill be at the show tommorow from about 10:30am till 6ish, and most likely all week (schedule permitting).
For the balance of the week, Ill be "living" in the GM display.

MORE INFO ABOUT THE SHOW CAN BE FOUND AT http://www.autoshow.ca

Ford F-350 TONKA concept truck
Mazda RX Evolve and RX01
Mazda RX-8 X-MEN (from the second movie)
Mazda Washu
Hyundai HCD6
Toyota Fxs

Making its debut:
Subaru Impreza WRX STi

etc etc etc
