Anyone know where to download the video? I tried the links from the previous thread but they're down.

Where are you going to download these Top Gear vids. Do I have to pay for a membership?

God bless the Brits, but in the past, Top Gear has absolutely lambasted U.S. cars...Their writers have had a penchant for being very snooty, thinking that their opinon is final and the only one in the world that matters

Awesome! That really tugged on my wallet to get a Pontiac GTO.. I think I will go check one out at a dealership now..

One thing though, why is it, the right handed driver versions always get really bad accel times? Didn't they say it went from 0-60 in 6.5 seconds? While motortrend got the US Pontiac GTO in the 5's with the quater in 13's?

The GTO's LS1 produces for power than the Monaro. That first link is a review of the Pontiac not the Monaro, I'm not sure what times the guy got.

Also the exhaust on the monaro is specifically designed to cancel as much noise as possible causing major restriction. This is a pretty big gripe I think about stock cv8s but the aftermarket takes care of that for the aussies. (they can't use the gtos true duels because the gas tank wont allow it. Since we had to move it there is plenty of room.) With ours you'll probably be flowing more than you need unless you make some engine modifications...
