Woohoo! Exactly where they should be.

I think the Apple-esque center stack in the Volt is neat. I'm just not crazy about the steering wheel.

all this technology and they can't put anything more then 'check engine' in the car WHY.
Fricking tell me the code and more importantly the message like 'misfire cylinder 7" on that pretty little screen.

Quite a few of those cars can do a lot more than just say check engine... a lot of them offer some pretty detailed messages for maintenance and repairs.

If they don't then I guess we could assume they're just trying to make it harder for the owner to avoid going to the dealer.

That GT-R interior is quite ugly. Uglier than the new Camaro.

"Ugly" cannot be quantified.

I don't think it's great, but it's not terrible either.

About my only specific criticism is the large flat black plastic plate below the nav system. As far as the article is concerned the tech factor of that car is very cool... the video game inspired performance meters in the nav system are super cool... it definitely deserves a spot in that list.

GT-R has some great tech, but it sure is ugly.

I really like the Fusion Hybrid for how well the LCDs are integrated and how clean the whole thing looks.

Recently went to Nissan's test drive in Toronto. They didn't have GTRs, obviously, but they had them on display. I really love that car. I think it looks fantastic and I love the interior - very racecar-ish. Like Threxx said, the black plate covering the radio buttons below the Nav screen sucks, but not in a big way.

I love the wheels and the brakes.

One other car I like is 370Z. I drove it, and it felt great. Everything else is very non-inspiring and below its competition in my opinion.

It's great to see american car companies building cars that are actually competing with cars from across the pond. Instead of "well, we have higher costs than those other guys. What can we do?", we are actually getting some real cars that you no longer need to make excuses for.

Oh, and that GT-R interior would look fantastic in the 90s.
