Regarding the recent posting of sensitive and unauthorized photos/documents/etc...

If you realize it or not, the posting of sensitive, private, internal (or otherwise) documents and photos might make you look cool and give you attention for a day or so, but it can do severe damage to the projects and vehicles that are in the works that are even many years off. Even if your intentions are good, it is still damaging.

This means that even an insignificant document/photo/etc. that gets out there when it shouldn't can snowball and the ramifications can be very disastrous. Those ramifications can have an effect on what we all want to be driving in the future. Those effects will probably not be positive with the continual release and repost of unauthorized documents/photos/etc.

Even though there is no "reading between the lines", please read that last paragraph to make sure that you fully understand it.

We all want to know about the future of the Camaro and other cars. We get upset because we think GM does not care. You can be assured that GM realizes that silence is upsetting to everyone, and yes, they do care. They have good reasons why they cannot give us much information at this point. Some of those reasons were posted on this site earlier this year. When the time is right, we'll get information, that I can promise you. And my sources tell me that there is a bright future indeed. Let's not contribute to the degradation of that bright future.

As a result of us not wanting to be part of what could be detrimental to the future or our hobbies and lifestyles, please do not post links to that you feel may contain documents/photos/etc. not authorized by the respective information owners and authors.

The bottom line is that we cannot let this site be one that the folks in GM consider a threat instead of the great resource that it is.

So until whatever happened gets sorted out, we ask that people do the entire situation a favor and hold off from discussing it publicly to avoid additional problems and damage.

Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated!
