This comes pretty close. I like it better than the new all chrome grill for 2012. It looks like they just colored in the new split Silverado HD grill. They had another truck in blue.

 

Here is a black Tahoe LTZ for comparison.

 

It's not just the grill. I like the whole Tahoe nose better. Different headlamps, more sculptured bumper, etc.

 

^^^This... the Silverado in general is fugly which is funny seeing as how gorgeous the GMC is

 

They also offer a monochromatic package for the Sierra. I just pulled my bumper and had it powder coated black to match the rest of the truck. Looks much better IMHO.

 

...AND the SIDES look a hell of a lot better. The Avalanche is the sexiest "truck" on the market today

Good point. While I think the crew cab version of the current Silverado is ok (from the side), the extended cab version is hideous.

 

Yep, the Sierra Denali HD is the best looking out there. I really like the 5 spoke 20" wheels too.

On the other hand, the Yukon front end just just too feminine. I want to see a Yukon with the nose of a Sierra!

 

Me too. I was hoping GMC would change this before the GMT-900 life was over.

 

Chevy shoulda used the Tahoe front end on the trucks, like this converted example. It looks so much better.

If I was in the market for a truck, I would be all over the Avalanche. Its the best looking truck on the market. I never cared for the 1st generation Avalanche, but the current Avalanche is a hit. I hope the rumors aren't true that the Avlanche is going away after this generation is done.

I like the Silverados, but the Avalanche looks so much better, plus you get the nicer interior. The base Silverado interior is horrible. I had a Sliverado LT rental last fall when my G8 was in for service and I was apalled at the Silverado "base" interior. Layout is ok but the hard plastic materials have a lot of sharp unfinished edges. I'd say 80% of Sliverados have base interior.
