And what happened to the Suburban? Max Towing Capacity is 0!? I hope the site is wrong.

It is wrong. The Avalanche can tow up to 8100lbs and the Suburban 9600lbs. Unfortunately they did drop the availability of the 6.0 with the Avalanche for 2010.

Right you are; I should have looked it up. I had just been behind an Expedition on the road, and I could clearly see a solid axle. I guess it must have been a '97-02.
