They put our GM Stamps on sideways.

Whoever put that badge on, and whoever was the quality control person should be severely reprimanded.. If let something that obvious slip, then what else is wrong with the car?!

Get a new wash mitt dude and dry it with microfiber.
EDIT: Thats probably the dealers wash job sadly that has the new paint marred.

You know, our saturn came from the dealer already waxed

All swirls disapear with the lack of lighting so dont accept that what they do to a new paint job is okay. Of course, dont take it to them to be fixed, lol!
Its no major deal to most but it still sucks that dealers wont respect the new paint. Imagine if that bad boy were black!

Interesting. FWIW, in my 10 plus years at the dealer I saw my fair share of trim/parts mistakes on the lot. Some were truly factory mistakes and some were not. In my experience mis-matched badging/hubcaps typically was factory while poor paint with correct but mis-aligned badging was typically a shoddy dealer body shop repair of a car damaged in transit or while on the lot. Different states have different laws regarding the disclosure of lot damage (usually a $ amount threshhold) And then there's dealer ethics
Personally, I would
1.Take a close look at the surrounding areas for signs of paint/bodywork.
2.Get a full service history report from the service dept.
3.Go directly to the dealer body shop manager and ask if the have performed work on the car before.
That's just me though. I like to explore all possibilities.
